It was 6:23 in the morning when my phone went off, really loud. And that got me out of bed! I looked down and my phone must have fallen into the tangled cords and I could barely pick it up.
I was surprised to see it wasn’t my alarm; it was my sister Wendy texting me, “Good morning baby gurl”. At that moment I was really happy, but then I hit realty that I had to get up and get ready for school. And what slowed me down more was that it was still dark outside so I just couldn’t get moving. Then what made it even worse is that it was so late. So I jumped out of bed and rushed around to find something to wear. Then I realized my shirt was still wet in the dryer. So I had to hurry and find something to wear. After about 15 minutes I found something to wear and I got dressed.
After that I kept hearing my phone go off and I couldn’t stand it any more so I finally looked at it and wow! I got about 10 different messages from all different people. Some said, “Good morning” while others said, “Why aren’t you texting me back?” After I finished telling people that I would text them back when I got on the bus then I looked up, and it was 7:00. I still had to brush my teeth and get my shoes on, and to you that might be nothing, but it takes me a long time. So I quickly ran and did that stuff and ran down the stairs and went to the front the door.
Then I realized I had to write a note for little Maddy and Eddy, and I said I will see them after school and I loved them. Then I went outside and to the end of my driveway and the bus was 3 feet away, and I couldn’t wait until I got on the warm bus. Finally the bus came, and as I walked on to bus I felt a rush of warmth. The rushing around and the hurrying was now over, until I arrived at school.
